Highfield Centre

Admission Criteria

The Highfield Centre is registered with Ofsted to provide ABA intervention programmes for children aged 2 upwards and can cater for up to eight children at any one time. All the pupils have autism or related disorders.

Children who attend the Centre will :

  • have a diagnosis of autism
  • have a Statement of Special Educational Needs that identifies the need for ABA under parts II and III and subsequently names the Highfield Centre as the place for intervention
  • live within commutable distance of the Highfield Centre
  • have funding agreed by the Local Education Authority

School age children will have a named school identified on the Statement of Special Educational Needs and will receive an appropriate currriculum there.
